Structure your site manually ( Create your plan and layout):
Just took a paper and write down every thing what you want to sell and how. Write each and every details about the particular product i.e. Product description, it's application, technical specifications, product images or what so ever. When you finish your writings, create a section for each of them. You are done, now you are having the complete site structure with you and can go on developing unique contents for your site. Below is a basic check list of creating structure for your site:
- Your site's home page: Used as a gateway to present your selves in structured manner.
- Your company profile page
- Your products or service page
- Technical specifications
- Testimonials, your happy customer speaks.
- Pricing information's
- Your skill set or staff page
- Press room for your company news and events
- Frequently asked questions
- How to buy your products online
- Other methods people can buy from you.
- Shipping information's
- Product guarantee or warrantee
- How to contact you, all your contact details and mode of contact
- How did customer's receive more information's about your products.
- Your online catalogue or Business broachers
- Product Demo if any
- Special offers or current promotional offers
- News letter
- Your business card.
- Terms of services
- Legal Disclaimer
- Site Map - This is very much important and you should create it carefully.
You can also add some more tools to make your site interactive. Your basic aim should be a visitor should stay longer to your site. If your site provides quality contents no wonders you can gain much desired popularity. You can further add following tools to your website:
- Forums
- Chat room
- Guest book
- Live customer service
- Video's about your products and services
- Refer to a friend
- Your automated mailing list
- Autorespnders
- Site Search and many more..
There are many more interactive tools can be added in a website which should be used step by step. Some times doing too many things together can destroy the whole and people end up scrapping the idea.
