When I first think of promoting one of my site in early 2002, I have done a small research on this topic. I was so depressed to know that my site is positioned nowhere in any of the search engine . That was a clear shock as because I was done the first launch of  that website in 1996 with a beautiful design and full of contents of our services. It was a very embarrassing situation before every one that we have not gained any business from any search engine from last six years and the company is still happy :) simply because our superb development team and individual marketing efforts pays revenue .

But one thing was disturbing my mind like a tumor that, during these six years we have established our presence in markets like USA, Canada and Australia. Our solutions were well accepted by them and we have the credit reports, but does not have any of the presence in any of the search engines . Rather than (sorry to be aggressive here), sites which are newly came up, does not have any credential report or does not provide the services at all !!! for which they are ranking top in the search engines :) believe me that was really disturbing element in my mind. The immediate thought was first came in my mind " better late than never and learn from your earlier mistakes " the mistake not to use search engines to promote our services .

So first I though to find out what are the search engines, how many of them, how to submit a web site into a search engines. I performed a search in Google with the key phrase "search engines in world" to add my further shock I found sites offering search engine optimizations, rankings or submissions services were doing top rankings. I thought this is the end of the road for me now :) why bother about wasting time on Search engine when they can not place themselves high on there very own search results. But still that was itching my brain very much. Another thought which came in mind right way that if they can do this why not me. I begin browsing at Search Engine World who are ranking at the first place that time. It turns the table for me, fortunately I was in to the storehouse of web promotions and I encountered my first world of Search engine optimization techniques . I started implementing the basic suggestions and after few months the results were fare enough to satisfy my hard work. I too joined the bogie of the search engines and my site was doing fair enough to give me my personal Utmost satisfaction.
