There is a question in my mind for all of you. "How many times you trusted
your website that it can deliver customers for you?"
Yes!! it is trust that matters a lot. Due to recent changes in search
engine's algorithm average people lost hope and stop trying promoting there
site. There is a phrase which motivate some of the most successful people
round the globe is "Keep the fire burning within you, this is all that matters a
lot". Motivation is the key, In my early years I too have many unsuccessful
attempts but those failure also given me motivation and ability to learn from my
mistakes. Though I am still not 100% perfect but always open to criticism to
improve my weak areas, so that i can reach to maximum level. Never give up, keep
on trying. always ask a question to yourself, "Did I really tried everything
honestly?" and I am sure you will get the answer within yourselves.
In general people create a site and hope a lot that, i.e.
1. I will be top on every search engines just creating this site.
2. My sales will double due to this site.
3. I will get a top level brand on internet.
4. I will be getting listed in Yahoo, Dmoz and other directories
5. My site will receive 1000's of hits and will be a high traffic one. and so
on...........
But after some efforts when we did not get the expected results, we lost
interest in particular site and move on the traditional methods of marketing.
Here is the mistake. All that mentioned above are achievable, or better
to say we can achieve much more than that by putting some extra and honest
efforts to our site.
Here are the basic self analysis points which can turn a failure to a grand
success in internet:
1. Did I regularly update the contents of my website.?
2. Does my sites contents are distributed on all the pages effectively.?
3. Does my chosen words really appeal a visitor.?
4. Did I promoted my site to relevant directories and other places, and also
used all the means?
of promotions?.
5. Does my site really offers what visitor's are looking for.?
6. Are the incoming links are relevant to what my site sells.?
7. How much time in a week I devote to market my site and am I really trust
online marketing?
8. How many places I posted my classified ads and under which category.?
9. Did I really made my site search engine friendly.?
10.Finally, what unique piece of thing I added to my site that appeal a visitor
to come back to my site.?
There are 100's of other questions comes immediately in my mind, but in brief I
like to say. Always keep the fire burning, try hard and believe in yourself
and of course, Your Grand Website, which is another shining star rising in
horizon and ability to place you within the top raking in no time.
