“No one born after the turn of the 20th century has ever known anything but a world uprooting its foundations, overturning its values and toppling its idols.”
- Peter F Drucker (1957)

Management guru Peter F Drucker said in 1957 that that basis of life on which countries have operated for centuries are now dynamically changing their configuration. Accelerating technological developments have changed the pace of world.

Today business leaders themselves have no framework upon which to understand the happenings and events. We are unable to think about yesterday’s unresolved crisis as today there are more critical issues awaiting our attention. Political leaders today are lacking larger order of significance and purpose. Today we have vast information but relatively small context of meaning to make decisions.

Science is redefining the meaning of terms that we have known ever since our existence like nature, human and life. Scientists are increasingly making an attempt to subordinate human to technology. Soon there would be a world where we would think what humans are for if technological developments can do every human task better than humans.

The term family itself is changing it meaning. This has drastic effects on civil society. Civil society is a collection of government, education and social cohesiveness. All these aspects are being influenced. European race is no longer reproducing itself which has drastic implications on management particularly hiring and training policies.

Until now no nation has learnt to live with constant and radical change but now the ability to create change and the attitude that change is good is prevailing in society. Every nation is with other nations in this on going crisis where we adjust to ever accelerating pace of change. Thus there is no center of stability like Britain was in 19th century or America was in early 20th century.

Technological developments are taking place at a never before pace. Today we are in situation where we have so many technological devices around us that the meaning of human existence is at stake.

If we continue at the same pace we would be facing the technological developments of 100 centuries in just 25 years coming years. Now there is a need of finding the deeper meaning of human existence in this dynamic world of technological equipments.
