Porche AG is at the top of the list as per the reports revealed by an influential survey of the quality of new cars released. Other brands like Toyota Motor and its luxury Lexus brand walked off with individual model rankings.
Hyundai Motor rose from No.11 in the last year’s J.D. Power & Associates initial Quality study to be ranked as the top mass-market auto brand in the US Market.
Porche had been No.32 in 2005 and gained sharply this year. Toyota managed to take away 11 of 19 awards for top ranked vehicle in 2006 together with its Lexus brand.
