Just in between as some points came in my mind and I am posting the here for my future referance. There are lot of misconception about the prices and its justifications and i feel it should be taken into consideration while getting a justified quote.
1. Frequently asked questions like ” Your price is high compare to that ” >> Yes, This is the main concern for any buyer. But there are some hidden terms included when a seller quote very low.
2. Please ask any seller about what are the minimum quantity offered at that price. Most of the low rate prices are in bulk sale.
3. Delivery terms and payment terms >> most of the mills are overbooked now a days.
4. The prices may differ from different location and manufacturer nearer to buyer gets locational advantage.
5. A seller if he publish his rates in open market is a transparrent one and definately he is not looking any thing below that.
Just started this discussions and collecting views from a board so that I can build a collaborative module from the buyer’s point of view.
